Abstract

The paper summarizes certain institutional characteristics of the government debt management process in Georgia. The research aims to identify potential areas for improvement, which should support the effective management of public finance and enhance government effectiveness overall. By nature, the paper is primarily based on qualitative research methods, predominantly centered around the analysis of international assessments and the legislative framework. The research reveals that there are some more or less significant challenges in the country that need to be addressed by policymakers.
